Welcome To Carmarthen & District MAG

Carmarthen & District MAG is the local branch of the national Motorcycle Action Group and is part of the Welsh Region of MAG.

Our group was formed to give MAG a local voice in the Carmarthenshire area and to work towards gaining recognition for MAG in its campaigning to improve facilities for all motorcyclists. In addition our group provides a social atmosphere for motorcyclists to enjoy their chosen form of transport and will include ride-outs, social events, charity runs etc.

Formed in September 2010, our group meets at 8pm on the 4th Wednesday of the Month at the New Dairies Club, Water Street, Carmarthen. (Car Park accessed via Pentrefelin Street)

We are a friendly group and all riders are welcome. You don't even have to be a MAG member to attend our meetings.  All you need is an interest in bikes and riding, care about riders rights and a wish to socialise with other like-minded riders.Biker splash

In addition to our monthly meetings we have an active mailing list which is also our discussion forum. If you are a Mag member and would like to join the mailing list, contact the Webmaster.  Details on the 'Contact Us' page. We also  have a Facebook page, so if you are on Facebook give us a look here.

In addition we now have a Welsh Region Bulletin Board and forum here which is open to all.

From local provision of facilities like secure motorcycle parking, to national issues like providing consistent grip for motorcyclists on all roads, we will work with all local stakeholders and service providers to ensure that motorcyclists concerns and needs are always taken into account. We already have members on the Carmarthen Road Safety Action Group.

In addition, when appropriate, we will encourage our members to participate in national MAG campaigns.

This site will be used to inform and update all Carmarthenshire motorcyclists about issues affecting us all.  In the future, we will keep you informed of the interference from the EU and elsewhere to our chosen mode of transport, and the potential disruption to the pleaMag logosures of riding motorcycles both on and off road.Get a grip
